Review

Da-Da-Daaa! With that catching summary who wouldn't want to read 'The Last Academy'? Hell, even the name sounds kick-ass! The cover, wow, the cover stood out from the book shelf with it's haunting gothic-y look. So without a second thought I purchased it.

But I am ashamed to say that after a few chapters I was regretting buying the book. Everything was moving so...boring. I literally had to force my self to continue reading the next page.  Sure, there were some exciting parts where I kept in asking my self, "who the hell is that creep?!", it for the most part I found it dull. The characters didn't seem to have enough to them and the narrator seemed so...naïve. Maybe it was done purposely since she is supposed to be a fourteen-year-old, but to be honest, I never remember my self being as childish as she was.

But if you still want to give it a try, go ahead! Even though I would give it a 3/5 stars, I have to admit the ending was unexpected. It was totally original and it caught me off guard -something that is hard to catch me in. This is a PARANORMAL / SUSPENSE  with a pinch of like a thriller or horror theme.

Happy Readings!
-Yours Truley :)
